Pets In Need Midwest is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Your contributions are fully tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law. We receive absolutely no government assistance, relying solely on adoption fees and other financial contributions made to us.  The following are some ways you can help:

  • Wish List (Items you can provide for day to day use at the shelter)
  • Aluminum Can Drive - bring your recyclables to the nearest recycling agent and donate your collected earnings to Pets In Need
  • Land/Building Donation - must be agricultural zoned - Why continue to pay taxes and maintenance on a property you don't use? You can qualify for an IRS tax deduction while avoiding all the headaches of selling a property by donating it! Help Pets In Need find a new home!
  • Sponsorship of advertising, media, or publications. Call for details.
  • Donate your time on Saturdays between 11:30am and 3:00pm at the McHenry Petco. We need help setting up, walking dogs and breaking down.

This is Wiley. He is a 7 month old German Shepherd mix. He was attacked by another dog and the owners did not take him to the vet. His arm did not heal properly and it needs to be amputated. We will be picking him up from Anti-Cruelty on Monday and he is scheduled for amputation surgery on Wednesday. Please donate to help Wiley and other pets in need.
